Stopping the forehead sweat

I am really starting to enjoy the gym workouts but I want to stop the sweat dripping into my eyes and making it hard to workout... I've tried regular headbands and they didn't stop anything. Bandanas feel too heavy. Are there any suggestions for stopping the forehead sweat??

I have the same problem...only difference is I sweat all over! I am usually the only one in class dripping sweat on the floor! But I would rather sweat than not. I just keep a hand towel handy and use it! I look at the puddle in the floor and smile and think...'another one bites the dust'! LOL!

I say combine the headband together with the occasional use of a towel? I hope you figure it out.

I've had 2 sweatbands help, although not eliminate, the problem -- the SweatVac (http://www.amazon.com/SweatVac-Headb...8757198&sr=8-3), which is really absorptive, and the Halo headband, which has a little rubber strip in it to divert the sweat from your eyes (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ohs_product_T2).

I also use my T-shirt :D

I've just begun using a combination of a sweathand/headband and wrist bands. The headband does a good job for me and any excess I pick up with the wrist bands. The wrist bands also means that when I do mat work my palms don't slip and slide all over the place.

I like the buffs. They are light, but thick.

Maybe I'm just not used to it.. I don't sweat when I work out at home... not like when I'm at the gym... I will look into those headbands and try out the towel... it was just feeling awkward with the sweat pouring down my face and when I'm exercising with my elliptical at home nothing...

I'm kind of crafty, so I crocheted my own headband. I just tie it in the back and it looks cute (not just because I made it).

Hey, you should be proud of that sweat! You earn every drop! When I see someone totally sweaty at the gym, I have a lot of respect for them....I always am surprised when I see someone NOT sweat at the gym! ;)

I love to crochet to the point I can do it with my eyes closed for stretches of time (lol)! I didn't think of making my own sweatband.... I am proud of the sweat I just don't like it blinding my vision from getting into my eyes... I just don't want another mishap of my tripping on the treadmill that stuff hurts. I did purchase a couple sweatbands. I didn't see the fancy kinds at the store so I will order them with some other things I planned on ordering online. I need to remember to bring my own rag.

I sweat horribly on my forehead, too. I am the only one who brings a towel to a Zumba class. Usually, I have to start using the towel after 4 songs.
It really irritates me. I know everybody sweats but it seems that my sweat is all located on my head (my nape is always dripping) and between my boobs.
I look at our instructor and early into the class, I see that her entire arms are covered with sweat - but her face is completely dry. Oh, how I envy her!

Fortunately, my gym has face towel stations all over the place, so I can grab as many as I need / as often as I need.
I didn't always sweat in my face, it started after I turned 40 or so. Now I start sweating (my face) with the lightest physical activity - for example, I can be screwing screws and sweat! Grrr!!!
