My first four miles!!
I took a day's rest from exercise, aside from a light walk and then a day of kettlebells, so this evening I ran a good four miles as planned. Four miles, yay! It was pretty excellent, though I am quite slow. I ran the whole thing in 59 mins, which is about 14 mins give or take per mile. I felt so good during it though-evening runs really are always the best as here in KY, everything smells like honeysuckle-and that really helps. :D Anyway, yay! I am hoping to be able to do a Marathon in January, so I have a long, long way to go. But, I figure, I can walk what I can't run if it is too much for me. My mom and dad are running the Rock Marathon in Tempe AZ and want me to come along so I am going to take it all the way as best I can! Anyway, I am really excited so I wanted to brag.

That's awesome!! It's also awesome you ran continuously for one hour. I get so bored I can't hang in that long, regardless of how slowly or quickly I'm running. Congratulations!!

Awesome! A HUGE congratulations! :D

I'm excited for you too! :congrat:

Thanks, guys!!! I guess it is on to my next little goal, five miles this month!
|
Congrats - A Marathon is a goal I would really like to do at some stage. I think its a wonderful achievement to tell people you completed. So far I am at 2km in 13 minutes 42 seconds, have knocked over 2 and a half minutes off it since I started this journey.
