I did it!!! I did it!!!

Today I completed Week 1 Day 1 of the C25K plan!!! :carrot: Halfway through, I though OMG, I can NOT do this - but thought of others who pushed through, thought of what the folks on the Biggest Loser are put through and KNEW I would be so unhappy if I didn't - so I pushed through it. It felt SO good!

WTG Kimberly!! That's great!

This is what always pushes me too...knowing that I am going to be disappointed in myself if I should ever quit!

Keep it up!

Great job! I am working hard on getting myself in shape enough to join you with completing week one... I'll get there eventually! I am very impressed that you were able to push through and complete it anyway. Way to go. :)

Way to go! For me, the key was allowing myself to go at my own pace, which was SLOW! The program assumes a pace of a 10 minute mile, but it does not have to be. There's plenty of time in your future for improving speed if you ever care to.

I finished the program running at 4.3 and am now working on 6.0.

:congrat: Kimberly! I would like to do a C25K sometime. I have problems with one of my knees right know. But when it's better I want to do a C25K.

Congrats! I myself am working on the C25K! I always found that the first run of the week is always the hardest, cause it is asking you to step out of your comfort zone! Day 2 & 3 of that week were much better, because you knew you conquered day 1, so you KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Honestly, I find that the later weeks, where you are running 5 mins straight (as opposed to 30 secs walking/60 secs running etc.) is easier!

Keep up the great work!

Congratulations. I'm working on my own (kind of) version of the C25K and when you're at that point where you just want to give up, the best thing you can do is keep going till you get to that elusive runner's high and it's easy sail from there.
