Urgent question on exercise
Hey everyone...
I am really concern lately with food after exercising. My problem is that I go to the gym around 11 pm and comeback at 1 am just tired to shower and go to bed.. but I know we always should eat a bit of protein after exercises... but that apply to me even if i workout just before my night sleep???? |
My understanding is that a small snack of protein + carbs after exercising helps your muscles recover, which is very important.
How about 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with a little fruit or fiber one cereal mixed in? Or greek yogurt with fruit or a bit of fiber one? Not too filling, not too many calories, and you'll be taking care of your body and helping it get ready for the next workout! |
theres no rule that says you have to eat after exercise..... you can eat BEFORE as well, with the same benefits. I personally prefer doing PRE workout nutrition, instead of POST workout nutrition
