Jogtracker app on my phone
 

I found this app on my phone and thought I would share. It is easy to use and tracks my route, time and distance. Then it uploads to the website. It keeps track of my walking. I can see what I have done. I like to see the calendar fill up and hopefully see a journey of 1000 miles begin!!

What is the app? What kind of phone? Could be great!

JogTracker is the name and Droid is the phone. I don't know if it is available on other phones.

I went to the market, then apps, then health, then free and scrolled down. I also downloaded the heart rate monitorand I'm trying different calorie counters.

There are others Runkeeper, Endomondo, iMapMyRun.

I checked, I have open GPS tracker, seems to work fine for walking in the woods. My next task is to see if i can use it to find my way around a trail for a second time to repeate a walk.
