Question concerning exercise routine.

  • I've been doing this for a while and it was soo amazing in the beginning but lately it seems to have stopped.
    I wasn't doing any intense workout or going to the gym. I m a part time student and part time worker ><
    My routine would go like this.

    20 minute walk with dog in the morning.
    go to school (mostly sit in class).
    At lunch I will go to my part time job which requires me to stand for 5 hours and serve food.
    After I get home I will go walk another 20 minute with my dog.

    As you can see my schedule is pretty tight. I have to wake up super early in the morning so I end up going to bed around 8pm everyday.

    I've lost 50lb when I first started this routine in August to the beginning of October. In the latest 2 weeks I've lost maybe 3lb AT MOST. I m worried on why my weight loss is slowing down so drastically.. Right now I m at 181-183lb.

    Anyone have any insight? Thank you for your help!
  • Well, 3 lbs in 2 weeks is still a good loss. The closer you get to your goal weight, the slower the weight comes off.
    And the less you weigh, the fewer calories you need.
    So, that said, I would suggest you really scrutinize your food and try to add some weight/resistance training into your exercise routine.
