Default Is it enough to do classes at the gym?

I live on a college campus and have a full-time school schedule, so it's very convenient for me to find a class that fits into my schedule at our (free! open late!) gym and I've been doing those classes every night or so for about a week now. My question is, is that enough? I feel like they push me harder than I push myself during my own workouts, but do they cover a full range of excersize needs? (In the past week I've done kickboxing, hip hop, step, and core.)

Yes, it's great! Those classes really know how to mix things up and keep your body guessing! Also, as a student, you probably do plenty of walking. If your weight doesn't drop after doing this, you might consider looking into your food consumption. But if you're eating the right amount and type of food, it sounds like you've got the exercise part down!

I haven't lost much weight yet but, it's only been a week.

I always eat healthy food, I may just have to reduce the consumption. I snack at night sometimes, and even if it's usually something like pretzels and oatmeal or an apple and some nuts, I think that's what's causing me not to lose weight

Uh...yeah. LOL! I can not imagine life without Spin class and body + abs class. I am on my own only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I look forward to them, learn from them, and always wonder what torture they will provide me with next.

I love it!

Now, I suppose it depends on how good the class is. I have an old post on a particularly poor water aerobics class I took. For me, that one was a waste of time, even though I've heard (and believe) water aerobics can be awesome! But if you are winded afterwards and if those endorphins are flowing, carry on and enjoy!
