Question about bikes...

    What is a cruiser bike? DH and I want to buy some bikes, they will have to be cheaper, but I'm wondering what exactly a cruiser bike is? Are they good for long rides? I have no clue about bikes lol.

    A cruiser bike is the kind of bike you'd ride casually on fairly flat level. Cruisers are the kind of bikes you'd ride on a beach boardwalk. If you want to ride long distances and hills, then you'd want more of a road bike. If you want to ride on slightly rough terrain, then you'd want a hybrid bike. If you wanted to ride a rougher terrain (large rocks, branches), then you'd want a mountain bike.
