Where do I start?
 
How do you even begin to plan out an exercise program? I've never really tried to do this before, and it seems confusing as to how much strength, how much cardio, etc etc. Help?

I do 30 minutes cardio and
30 minutes toning. Basically, just
start off where you feel comfortable.

Today I started running again and I
ran two miles and biked a mile.
Then I lifted some weights for my arms
and legs for my toning. :)

Everyone is different. It's all about finding
out which routines work for you. Look online
and see what there is.

Start with baby steps, go for a walk, the recommendation is 30 mins/day, if that's too much, do 10-15 mins, you can even split that up and do some in the morning some at night...

As for weight training, start with body weight exercises such as modified push ups against the wall, then on the stairs going down one step at a time every week till you're on the floor, or do the push-us on your knees.
Do some body squats, this is a great all around workout for the legs... then there are lunges...

Google beginner workouts and you'll get lots of hits...
