Fitness Buddies

I'm on a strict mission to lose 20-35 lbs, however sometime the mission is alot easier with a buddy. Those check-in's or even helpful advice is just the push anyone mite need. So if youre interested, lets get started!!! :carrot:[/B] |
I would love to be your fitness buddy!! I started last week being more serious with my workouts and with my eating. I want to be down to 200lbs by 8/21 and down to 190 by 10/9.

Guess it's time to stop lurking.
I'm in! Have been trying to lose weight since March but only started working really hard for it in the last month. I have a wii with wii fit plus, biggest loser, my personal trainer (or coach or something like that, just dance (which I LOVE) and sport active. The fit plus doesn't make me sweat enough and I use it primarily at school for yoga and balance exercises (I teach marhing band and color guard and the kids love using it and take turns using the balance board on each stretch. I just got 30 day shred and no more trouble zones so I am experimenting with those too. I finally joined a gym last month and do the zumba classes there twice a week and kickboxing classes twice a week. Did water aerobics but it was not hard enough (more geared toward old people I guess). The best part is that I ordered the Gowear Fit thing (like the bodybugg) and it's suppose to arrive tomorrow! I can't wait. My weight keeps fluctuating up and down about five pounds no matter how hard I work or what I eat, so I'm eager to see exactly how many calories am burning and making sure I get at least a 1000 calorie deficit each day. Also looking forward to when school starts again because I'm curious how many calories I burn while teaching. Good luck on this journey together fellow workout buddies! |
I'm right there with ya :) I'd like to be down to 200lbs by first term at college, 1st of September :/ it's a long shot but with serious exercise I think I can do it :) and it'd be nice to have people to do it with so I'm so in :D
I set up a new regime last night, it goes, Monday, Wednesday and Friday - one hour at the gym Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday - 6am walk for 1 hour, 50crunches, 50 leg lifts, 50 push ups (spreadout throughout the day) |
