today I bought two funyaks.

I recently moved to a lakefront house and was thinking of different fun ways to exercise around the water. Rowing is a fantastic exercise! We should have lots of fun and burn a lot of energy with the funyaks.

Does anybody else do this or anything similar?

I just saw two "youngsters" carrying kayaks yesterday and thought "man, I wanna do that".
We have a lake kayak (not for whitewater) but I can't lift and/or carry it by myself.
I might check into the inflatable one. Thanks for the suggestion.
I'd be worried about it getting a hole or tear though - ???

well, we are LOVING them... they are very durable, made of super tough vinyl and are pretty easy to navigate. I totally recommend it! We have gone out almost every day since we got them.

I am really hoping to have arms like yours eventually.
