Strength Training = HUNGRY
So, I have done an hour of hard cardio before and then found myself particularly hungry afterwards - which makes sense to me.
But yesterday, the trainer at the gym set me up with a new strength training routine and afterwards, you woulda thought a ran ten miles as hungry as I was. I have never had that happen from strength training before. Anyone else get hungry after strength training/weight lifting?? |
Absolutely!! I have found that when I start a new strength training workout I am ravenous after a workout and need to eat some good protein and a good carb afterwards, then about an hour later I am hungry again and I eat again, yes I do !! It eventually subsides but, I am ravenous.... There was this particular core workout that made me soooo ravenous after a workout specially the first time I did it... I chalked it up to my muscles needing to be replenished :D and that is a very good thing...
