I have to echo what saef said (and of course, what rexsox33 said, too).
Honestly, nobody cares what you are doing and although I see that some people look at me - just like I look at THEM when they are in my field of vision or I see them doing something interesting - but it has never bothered me. I did have to "pep-talk" myself to go to the gym the first few visits (maybe 5) and then my little insecurity went away and I simply started having fun. I only wish I had started with the gym 20 years earlier!!!! |
I don't think about anybody in the gym except for the guy who is apparently drenching himself with Axe body spray and then always gets on the machine right next to me. You're not doing that, are you? Then you're fine.
Axe body spray is the work of the devil. And not in the good way they claim in the commercials. Like ammonia going straight up into your nostrils. |
HAHAHAHAHA omg thats funny!
Nope not me.. hahaha |
I agree with bronzeager - except at my gym it is two guys who have BO so bad the rest of us are walking around mouthing "it's not me" (small gym)!
But more to your question - no one cares at all what you look like! I recently started a dance class at my gym - and to say I am not a dancer is a huge understatement - but even there no one cares they are all lost in their own little worlds which where I try to stay instead of looking in the mirror! LOL! |
I think it was just me thinking of what the gym was before, cause i used to go at a university.. lol in the Physical Ed building.. and it was young guys.. LOL so it should be ok now :D

go for it! honestly, its about you and your workouts and no one else. good luck !
