I've lost most of my weight through diet. Unfortunately, I still have around the same body fat percentage as I did 33lbs ago. So for the last two weeks I've been doing full body strength training. For about two weeks in November, I was jogging almost everyday. I had worked it up to about 5 or 6 minutes of straight jogging.
Well today I decided I would start again. I truly hate running, it's one of my personal hells, but I'm realizing that I'm going to have to up it a notch to drop these last 10lbs. So, jogging I went. I was expecting to have to start at 1min walking/1min jogging/1min walking again and build it up. But I decided to just jog until I absolutely could not anymore just to see where I was.
I ended up jogging 10 minutes straight!!! And at a decent pace, too. Where in the world did that come from, haha. I guess carrying 20lbs less really makes a difference, lol. Then I walked for about 5 minutes and jogged 5 minutes more and then cooled down. I was quite pleased with myself, and I'm much more motivated to keep jogging.
