1000 miles in 2009 #4!! Wowsas!!!

In 2008, several of us ran in a 500 miles by Christmas challenge. Some of us got there (and then some---looking at you: Jo, Kitty, & Jenguin!) and some of us reached a different goal (300, thank you very much!).

Now we are starting a new year and have a new goal!

The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step....Are you IN???

This thread is open to everyone--if you are thinking of running 1000 miles by 12/31/2009...or 600....or walking 300...the idea is to move and track your mileage and have some fun along the way!

I had a nice 4 mile walk today....started out cold and came home warm!

I think I missed posting a day somewhere... Sadness... Oh well.

+5.2 at the park last night. 40 degrees sure feels a lot warmer after five miles of running in it... :)

+7.2 on Saturday... 35 degrees this time... Got new winter running clothes, so didn't feel quite so crazy. :)

Did +12 this weekend, in the rain... I have to rev up my "hardcore" running self and get excited about running in the rain again.

Did 8.25 yesterday. Yay thread 4! :)

Ok, since I last updated, 33 miles! Let's see how close I am to EZ!

ETA: Not very! But maybe I'll hit 500!
