  • Hello everyone,

This is especially for those who find it hard to stay motivated with an exercise/fitness routine.

I have posted a challenge on YouTube for women only.

It is actually a 12wk fat/weight loss & lean muscle building routine. Are ya ready for this?

    Its....
    Drumroll please...

    P90X

I know it seems extreme, but, I have done so much 'investigating' on very unfit/fat women who have done this program and have had great results.

I thought it would be a great way for all of us to help motivate, inspire, and help each other reach our goals. Or, atleast be well on our way.

Believe me, I am, by no means, fit, but, am game.

So what do ya think? Anyone up for it?

Even if you don't want to do the challenge, you can subscibe to my 'channel' and help motivate and give support to all the others who want to give it a try.

Let me know what you think, or, if you have any suggestions, questions, or, comments, I would truely appreciate it.

Thank so much my 'fellow fat chicks'

  • Hey Madison, I am totally game.
I think a healthy competition works.
    I have one of the P90x Dvd's and I can't even
finish the whole work out. I am going to the gym
and taking dance classes, taebo, running and weights.
Even though my scale is not moving as fast as I'd like,
I see and feel a difference. I fit into a skirt that was a
size smaller and I see the toning. So how can I get the
    youtube link?
  • I am psyched your up for it!!! I could use the company I'll pm you the link.

    Thanks
  • I subsribed to the link. Thanks. I will start one tomorrow.
  • Sweet, I will also add you as a friend to my youtube account and I have already added you as a buddy!
  • Oh, btw, My official start date is either going to be last day in Aug or Sept 1

    We can do this!!!!
  • I would like to do this as well.
  • OK um...Im on my 3rd week! MAN! I wish you guys were doing this a few weeks ago...Can I still check it out? Are you doing the lean or the classic? Oh and believe me it works! I love my abs! I cant stop looking at them! lol...Still 146 but my fat is going away and Im building muscle pretty quickly! GOOD LUCK.
  • Which one are you doing kiahna23?
  • I haven't receive my dvd's yet, but, from what I've been researching, I think I will stick to the classic. I hear the lean is just way too much cardio. I am looking to help build lean muscle, 'cause muscle burns fat!!!! I will probably add some sort of cardio anyways.

I am so excited you ladies are coming on board with this. It is really getting me motivated.

Now I just need to get over the fear of posting my before pics on youtube---yuck!!
  • I'm just doing the ab ripperX from P90X and I am in PAIN . I started it tuesday and I am still hurting. Today is Day2 of the ab workout.
  • I'm willing to still join you in Sept. Looks like we have a few ladies who want to get ripped! When I figure it out I am going to upload my running tunes file. Did you know that depending on the music you use while you are on the treadmill it can push you to walk faster/run! I've gone from starting at 3.5 to running at 5.3. Now I start at 5 and run at 7. Thanks to those upbeat tunes.
Gotta get that Bom Bom Pow
  • 33Nwant2BSkinny,
I agree. I run to slow music because I notice when I run to fast music I start to breathe too hard and end up way over my max heart rate like 190 beats or something. I run to slow music and walk to fast to make sure I keep walking briskly. I plan to increase my speed after I get through the C25K.
How long did it take you to get up to running at 7? I would like to hear your running tunes as well.
  • 33Nwant2BSkinny,

    I love Boom Boom Pow!
  • Anyone know where I can get a great deal on the P90X? I'd love to join you all, but I can't be shelling out a lot of cash right now on the dvds.
