Awesome job everyone :carrot: As always you are all very motivating!!!

August 18: STS Meso 2, week 3= Chest, shoulders, triceps.

Penguin, glad to hear that your surgery went well. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Jen & Diva I hope you are both feeling better soon.

Echo, great job with P90X :bclap: It's been awhile since I've done the workouts but I remember Ab ripperX being tough!
Be careful with the shin pain. I used to run quite a bit, (cross country & long distance races), and one day I started having pain in one of my shins. I ignored it for too long, and eventually I ended up with a stress fracture. I've never been able to run since, as it always comes back. Have you tried warming up your shins before starting your runs?

Onderchic, thanks for being such a great cheerleader to us all

Have a wonderful day everyone!!

I'm feeling much better today. I had an appointment at the Dr's office and he was happy with my progress and healing. He gave me a perscription for more drops for the right eye but told me I could quit the drops in the left! Yay! Hubby fixed me blueberry pancakes this morning, since I didn't get breakfast yesterday.

omorrow is going to be busy but not much going on today. Its been raining off and on, which has made is slightly cooler but much more humid. Pffft!

Echo, Glad to hear you did C&B and enjoyed it!

Onederchic 08-18-2009 04:48 PM

yah exactly - Ab ripper is tough, i couldnt do the 25 set, i just did as many as i could before i would collapse from the BURN! and couldnt do the straight legs either hahaha i love Tony. he's so cool!!!
thanks for the advice about the shin pains. yep gonna take it easy on the running. maybe do fast walking for awhile. till i build up the strength, and now that i am doing p90x, i have plenty to keep me busy each day!

no i havent warmed up my shins before running. that's a really good idea i should look into shin stretches , will do that, thanks!

---

my exercise confession.

i did 35 minutes of plyometrics (p90x).

5 minutes of cool down stretches.

shin stretches.

i am so happy i have a rebounder (mini trampoline) as it was kinder on my knees and shins. that plyometrics is tough! i couldn't finish the whole 60 minute workout. but boy is it a good work out, was dripping with sweat. but i stopped before i injured myself. as i could feel my shins hurting. they actually do it on the floor with trainers (very high impact) but i used my mini trampoline :trampo:

i feel good :)

thanks Narnia about encouraging me to do shin stretches, they are really helping me :) i found some on youtube, and have made a playlist of them

gonna take a shower now and then have a nice lunch! yum yum. :hun:

Go DO IT!! Stop being lazy! :kickbutt: :D
I did the Ab RipperX from it yesterday. It's only 15-18 mins but it is good. Hubby is following the P90X routines. I'm doing my own stuff but decided to add the ab/core workout from the P90X to my workouts.

Onederchic 08-19-2009 08:54 AM

Hehehe :D

I don't want to workout for more than 30 minutes at a time cause it is too hot in this mobile home with no ac :o :|

Onederchic 08-19-2009 08:56 AM

Well..that and for me, I have nothing else to do so breaking my sessions up over the day helps the boredom :S
