Hello!
Hello! My name is Iris and I am 28 years old, 5 ' 5" and currently weigh 187lbs. I have ALWAYS been a thick, shapely girl with big boobs and a big butt. When I was younger I had a beautiful, athletic body. However, in the last 4 years I ballooned up to 214lbs. In early May, I saw a picture of myself and couldnt believe how big I was. It had gotten to the point where I lived in gaucho pants and sweatshirts because I was embarrassed of my body. I would come home from working all day and sit in front of the TV and just eat and eat. I was so depressed. Finally one day I just decided that I didnt want to be fat anymore. I wanted to be healthy and happy and have that beautiful body I used to. I am still so young. I feel like I have wasted so long being the 'fat' girl and I'm just done with it. So, in May, I began watching what I ate like a hawk, cutting out carbs and sugar entirely and replacing them with more veggies, fruit and WATER!!!!! I began doing cardio and light jogging for at least 30 minutes everyday....and I have since lost over 20 lbs!!!! My goal is to lose 30 more pounds by mid-fall.
HOWEVER...... .....my boyfriend pointed out yesterday that I was losing my butt. :( I LUV my shapely bottom (and so does he) and DO NOT want to lose it. What can I do? |
LOL. I noticed that I was losing my butt just two days ago. I said it out loud and my boyfriend agreed. And then he sighed.
I don't know what can be done. Maybe stair climbing? For the moment I'm just focusing on losing weight - I don't care where it comes off of (boobs or butt) as long as it comes OFF! =) |
im not sure what its called, but you go down on all fours and raise each leg up towards your back, one at a time (obv.! lol) im pretty sure this is helping to strengthen your muscles, which'll tone the tush, but also give it that shapely look back. or look at the victorias secret models, they all do brazillian workout to keep their money makers lookin perky..but i know what you mean. my boyfriend is happy that i'm doing good for myself but hates that im losing my butt (bye bye tushy!). try working out your butt..if that doesnt help you can always get implants! jk

But seriously, I think Butter is right. My wife is always complaining about her weight, but for her it is not weight... it is muscle tone. Building up those muscles will help. In addition, the added muscle mass will burn more calories. Sadly, muscle weighs more, so you may not see an immediate weight number benefit. Still, I think it would be the right thing. :) |
