Way to do it! Don't you worry not ONE ioda about the timing right now. Get into your groove and that will come later. Make it something you like and a habit for now.

I think it's great. Even now that I run, I can't walk as fast a mile as some people do who don't run. I guess I'm just not built for fast walking.And anyway, it just doesn't matter what you can do today, only that you do it and keep doing it and grow!

You're doing great already! I'm another one who couldn't even run a mile in under 15min in high school lol. Just focus on proper form and have fun!

When I started my diet about a month ago I had to hit the gym in my building. The treadmill was my enemy let me tell you. I didnt realize HOW out of shape I was (still am). My husband (very sympathetic :rolleyes:) asked why I was going slow and commented I wouldnt lose any weight ugh! I started at 2.0 and my heart rate was about 130ish. I got discouraged at first but I realized if I was fat for a long time it would take me awhile to get into shape. I also have learned to enjoy the journey more than getting bothered by how slow I am compared to others. I now can go up to 3.5 with a heart rate of 120ish. So yes its progress and be patient with yourself. Your not where you want to be, but its not where you were, your on your way!!!! :carrot:
