Default 30DS- do you take a BREAK??

plain and simple, i know there are a ton of 30DS-ers around here, that's why i bought it. because i knew a lot of people would be able to relate and... i like that.

anyway, i just finished day 4 level 1 and i'm sore. i know i could do it tomorrow though, and the next day, and the next for 30 days but i'm wondering if i SHOULD take a break? i kind of would like a day off like tomorrow since i'm going out dancing tomorrow night but at the same time i'm afraid if i let myself off the hook for a day that i won't want to start again! haha

so what did you guys do? 30 days straight? one day off a week?

Yeah, soreness is pretty common! But I think the best thing is to just keep doing it! You'll notice pretty quickly that you are getting stronger! Yeah, sometimes life happens and you have to miss a day. You don't need to stress about that. Enjoy!

Keep going girl! When you exercise when you are sore (unless you go overboard) it helps to relieve soreness by pushing that stuff out

I am bouncing on the walls right now- my copy hasn't come in the mail yet!

I listen to Jillian's podcasts on KFI, and she has gotten several calls on this. She actually doesn't recommend that you do it every day - I think the advice she gave to the caller was to do every other day and cross-train with cardio. This is to give your muscles a break so they can build and repair.

Great question Corazonas! I was thinking the same thing but I take a break every two days with my wii fit and do the free step. So far lost 6lbs on this system this month! soooooo happy
