Need a swimming alternative!!??
Well I was going to swim everyday but due to the weather that is put on hold until it warms up a bit. It's been in the 60's or so and that's too cold to swim outside in an unheated pool lol. Anyone know any good exercise that I wont keel over after five minutes? Swimming was good for me because I can do it for a long time and burns calories like there is no tomorrow. I don't expect something to burn like swimming but at least something I can do for an half hour consistently without feeling like my heart is gonna burst. It is going to be in the mid early 70's like 73 you guys think that is warm enough?

Hey do you have a gym with a pool nearby? I go to my gym and do aqua aerobics...so much fun and you're burning calories without even realizing it! My pool also does pool running and Half and Half..Half cardio/toning!

I joined the YMCA and I go to a water aerobics class. One time I lost 2lbs in 2 days. My teacher is just that hard but it is totally worth it.

a poor excuse the 60's thats like a warm summers day here, ;) its currently 7.4C here and i'm wearing shorts and t shirt. go on get in the pool its good for you, you could always do the oldfashioned thing that cross channel swimmers did and cover yourself in goosefat  on a more serious note just try walking its very good for you and will get you out and about until the temp gets warm enough for you. i used to go swimming in the ocean on new years day very errr refreshing you might say:carrot: |
