I'm pretty new here on 3FC. I just found this thread and thought it was a great idea! It's just the kind of motivation I need to keep running in the "off season", which - oddly enough - happens to be summertime for me.
Just ran a 10K race on Sunday in 58:11 (in the snow

). I took it a little easy and would like to do my next race (in a few weeks) in less than 55...we'll see. Although I've done a half before, I'm more of a 10k girl so I don't think 1000 will happen. I'm going to give myself a more realistic goal of 500 for the year and see how that goes. I'll have to go through my journal to add up what I've done so far this year.
