Help with fitness goals please!

  • I'm not sure if this is the correct thread or not but I need some advice or input.
    I have finally taken my measurements and would like to work on building some muscle in some places and trimming my midriff.
    I am a total apple shaped lady so my measurements are;
    tiny tiny legs
    big waist
    big chest
    tiny tiny arms

    I play soccer once a week, cross country ski, and lane swim a few times a week. I am learning to weight train as well. I know that I will need to work on my core more so than I have been.
    I am looking for advice on what weights to use, how often etc. Are there any other apple shapes struggling to achieve a more shapely apple? Don't get me wrong--I love my shape. I'd just like a smaller apple. Like a crabapple or something.
