DEC, Run/Walk/Swim CHALLENGE
Let's go Gals :yes:
Let's end the year with a :bomb: BLAST! Setting my goal for miles a bit lower this month due to travel time to my current job. Got 2 miles in today with the mutts after work 2/50 MILES |
Going to just focus on running & weights this month. Swimming will just be an added bonus. Going for 50 miles in December.
Started out the month with two workouts - 3.5 miles total. 3.5/50 |
Aiming for 50 miles this month, amongst the school madness!

Angie took a nice 3.5 mile walk around the neighborhood this morning. It was sunny and 55 degrees. Skipped the walk to the coffee shop and visited with the neighbors out this morning.
Going to be way short of my shortened goal I'm afraid due to travel miles each day....wish I could add those 150 daily miles to my total!! 5.5/50 MILES |

I have a hard time walking at all because of the weight...My goal is to walk one song on my MP3 player or about 4 minutes. tomorrow...i will check back in again after! my sister is jamsk8r and is helping me with my goal by talking to me every day. thanks for starting this thread! |

Thanks for the encouragement EZMONEY! the 5K walk/run sounds like a great goal...ok maybe next year! as it is - i can barely walk without calling 911! i DID make the one song goal, and i did it twice the next day. But i took a 2 hour break in between. i was at work! So i made it to one four minnute song, then i worked 2 hours, then i walked another 4 minute song.
Cakses- very impressive for someone trying to get back in the saddle! 2.75 mi is alot girl! zeta- it IS rough when you take the weekend off- but what if you took several years off? You are doing great! jennifer |
Biking
I enjoy biking, It lets me get the exercise withou hurting my knees as much. I found a wider seat and am now biking almost 50 miles a week! My weight is gonin down and I'm feeling better and better. 2009 is looking great!

Dec 14th: 4.13 miles on elliptical trainer -- Had some foot pain Friday and Saturday, so I decided to rest. Wednesday and Thursday were a loss due to my school schedule :(

Ok I am a bit behind haha. Finally got my rear end in gear today and swam after work for 45 minutes. 1.14 miles done (2,000 yds).

Got back to the gym today even though I am not 100%. Did 2.25 miles on the TM then swam 900 yds. Nothing too hard since I am still hacking up a lung.

ezmoney are you running 2.5? that is a gteat feat. cakses-very inspiring! I am still just going 4 minutes at a time. I just walk once a day to say I did it, but I am happy to do that right now. It is still hard to breathe but I did lose 13 pounds in 2 weeks and it makes me feel like it is a little easier now!!! Eating less on "calorie counters" thread is helping me lose so that I can excercise someday soon! |
