Is there anyone else out there who has osteo-arthritis in their feet? & how do you deal with the pain while exercising?
That sounds awful! Do you have it?

I have osteo-arthritis in my knee.
For me I do the following:
- Take glucosamine. I know it helps with knee issues related to osteo-arthritis, not sure for foot.
- Take an anti-inflammatory if I feel pain. Motrin is good but I also have a prescription for something from my doctor.
- Ice my knee if I feel pain. Again, if there is inflammation, I'll feel pain. Ice and anti-inflammatory will help with that.
- If I have severe pain and it won't go away, I consult my doctor. I was doing physical therapy due to my pain last year.
Thanks ladies for replying -
Yes, I have osteo-arthritis in my feet - was taking Vioxx up til 6 yrs ago (when it was taken off of the market) - nothing else works so no meds now.
Pain definitely lessens with weight loss, but boy is it smart when doing alot of leg work that requires "tension" placed on feet.
