Working Out While At the Office?
Any one have any suggestions for good ways to work out in a cubical? I tend to go for 10 min. walks about every 1.5-2 hours or so.
Any other suggestions? |
Sometimes at work i do squats and lunges. Or calf raises. Also i do the 'stomach vaccum' you can do it standing or sitting. Just suck it all in and contract your stomach muscles as tight as oyu can and for as long as you can.

On days when I'm sort of chained to my desk, I do all sorts of little things like leg lifts under the desk and, since I get to listen to music at work, I do a lot of chair dancing with abs pulled in tight. :D

May I suggest dips using your chair and push-ups off your desk. :)

I do resistance band workouts sitting down in my chair at my desk. SparkPeople has the video for it on their site and on Youtube and you'll need the resistance band.

Also squats and standing lunges. Since I'm the only person in my office, I can also do walking lunges down the hall. :) But if you're in a cube, then just stationary lunging is good too. . |
i work in a school assisting 1st grade and im always up and down the stairs, so that's enough exercise for me at work.
