Default I hate, loathe, despise saddlebags. I'm not a horse!

I don't know if this is the correct place for this post, but I'll try:

I hate my saddlebags. I do not know if this is the luck of the draw for me and I'm 'saddled' with them for life, or if there's anything short of lipo that I can do for them.... hateful things... when looking at the side of my leg when I'm facing forward, one can tell where the saddlebag ends and the rest of the leg begins....
I would say that these saddlebags are my most hated body feature.

thank you for listening

I hear ya, sister!

The only thing I hate worse than my saddle bags is my damn tummy poodge!

And personally, I am planning to rid myself of them both once and for all next year with some surgical help.

Optical Goddess - What type of exercise do you do? Those bags are just fat and we must get rid of the fat ... I find that when I do a LOT of cardio, to burn fat, running 3-4x/week along with a day or two of heavy leg lifting per week, this works the best to rid of my saddle bags. PLUS drinking a ton of water... Now, if you're already doing all this exercising and drinking your water, then it just may be genetic and nothing short of lypo will get rid of your saddle bags...

Presently I haven't run since June and I can definitely see my saddle bags coming back ... Time to get running for me... I suggest running because for me this is the fastest burning exercise, but any good cardio workout should do the same...

I know the comments weren't directed at me, but....

I run 5x a week, AND do cardio/weights 5x a week. (I work out twice a day, 5x a week).

My bags and poodge are definitely genetic. Even as a fit, active teenager weighing only 150 lbs at 6 feet tall, I had 'em. They were much smaller, but they were there. All the women in my family (on my mom's side) have the poodge, if not the saddle bags.

Darn family genetics. BAH!

So, surgery it is. My mom and I used to talk about it from time to time. We both said if we won the lotto or came into lots of money we would get it done. Now that I am in the position financially to afford it, I will be following through.

I'm STILL not sure entirely what saddlebags are but I'm sure I have 'em.

Can someone tell me what they are?

As long as you're healthy... Don't let them bother you. They give you sexy curves! Remember, guys love curves! They are so... womanly and feminine!!
