Going back to the Gym - AGAIN
Hurdle #1:
In June, I attended a fund raiser where a Silent Auction was included in the evening's events. I was the high-bidder on a 6-Month Gym package/1Free Pizza combo:dizzy::dizzy:!! I had one bidder competing against me and I wasnt going to let them win! I should have given him/her the consolation Pizza portion of the prize - I have no desire to use it. Hurdle #2: "I will join the gym July 1st." After all, joining on an odd day in the month makes no sense, right? BTW, what day is today??? At least I joined. Hurdle#3: Didn't exercise. That'll be tomorrow. I had too many things to do today. Orientation tomorrow night- and I do have an appt for that. Am considering the use of an in-house personal trainer. I figure the $$ spent eating out some high fat/calorie meal 2x week will be better spent on a trainer 2x week. I dont know how to do anything except the treadmill and stair climber. I want to do it right this time. I tested out at 45+ BMI - OUCH:(. On my way to losing 50lbs by the new year:D |
Cheering you on! It's a start in the right direction just by signing up for the gym... and wanting to have a few sessinos from a personal trainer is even better so, heading in the right direction thus far. Good for you.
I had a PT, and she showed me the machines and how to use them, I really enjoy those and am looking forward to my next meeting with her soon. |
