Back to the trainer!!
I quit seeing my trainer right before Christmas, since our schedules just weren't meshing (due to the holidays, my workload, etc.) and because of the expense. I'd been working out with him for over 6 months and made tremendous progress. I'd come to love exercising, love the gym, and really gained strength and lost weight. He worked with me to develop several different routines I could go through w/out him. And I felt good about the decision. Motivated to continue.
Today, it's been over a week since I went to the gym. When I go, I hit the elliptical for 45 mins and then agonize over the weights and wind up not doing them, likely as not. I started the NROLFW program (which I LOVE) but haven't kept up with it. So. This weekend I decided, it's time to call Ryan again. Time to fork out the money and have someone push me - as I simply won't or can't push myself. I know I'm capable, but I need someone to abuse me a little and let me know that I'm wimping out, when I'm wimping. Wish me luck. The first few weeks are going to be sheer torture. I know I'll have to build back up to where I was ... but I'm looking forward (kinda) to the pain! :) . |
That's sounds awesome! Very few people can push themselves to the degree someone else can push them. Bare in mind, once you've built up your muscles it only takes 1/3 of the time to restore them to that state. I'm sure you'll be back in the swing of things before you know it!
Good luck! |
Good luck...I'd love to work with a trainer but our pocket book can barely take the hit of a family membership to the YMCA!!
It looks like your previous efforts have resulted in fantastic weight loss, though...so you can do it!! |
