Hmmm... It ain't so bad

  • How long did it take you to actually start liking and looking forward to your daily exercise?

    I used to HATE doing my walks (3 miles per day.... 2 km to work and 2km back).

    Now (especially in the mornings) I get dressed up, put on my music and walk like my life depended on it (I had a "little person" walk with me yesterday morning and she could barely keep up!!!!). I love the feeling of just sweating it out... I'm exhilrated by the time I get to work. I have my cool down period... change - retouch my makeup and hair then my day seems to go so well

    It took me about 2 months to finally start enjoying this walk!!!!

    Now if I don't get to do it, I get crabby hehe
  • You were quicker than me! It took me a couple months of just developing the habit. Then another few months to learn to "like" the habit. It was probably a good 6 months or longer before I noticed that I was becomming hooked on exercise! Now, like you, I get really crabby if anything disturbs my workout.
  • i've always loved exercising...but i also don't have to get up early to do it. Its definately a struggle for me to get up early.
