Exercise Music

I think it's time that we have another opportunity to share our favorite workout music. I have about a hundred songs on my mp3 player for the gym but most of them have been there for years and are getting boring to me. I'm looking for suggestions for some new stuff.

I'll start. (And, warning, the music is pretty atrocious, but I like it for exercise.)

I run on the treadmill and some of my faves are:

Britney Spears - Everytime (Hi-Bias Radio Remix)
Jewel - Intuition
Shakira - Hips Don't Lie
Kylie Minogue - Spinning Around
Sarah Hudson - Girl on the Verge
Beyonce - Crazy in Love
Christina Aguilera - Fighter
No Doubt - I'm Just a Girl
Fountains of Wayne - Stacy's Mom
Destiny's Child - Survivor

It depends on my mood, I either listen to pop/dance stuff like gwen stefani, shiny toy guns, justin timberlake, kill hannah, madonna, etc. On the other I listen to hard rock like Muse, Marilyn Mason, Nine Inch Nails, Orgy, Seether, etc.

Ones I find that really get me going are cheerleading songs. They've got the beat to make you work and are peppy and up at the same time. You usually have to go through a shareware program, but they're worth it!

Latin Music all the way! I love any of it, my favorite artists are Shakira, Juanes, Carlos Vives, Chayanne...lots more but those are big names.

Also for really getting moving fast, Breaking Benjamin (some of their songs are a bit harder but I noticed I really! pick it up on them) and Nickelback.

I hate to admit it, but Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" might have singlehandedly inspired me to get up off my couch and work out again for the first time in months.

"Hey - hey- you - you - I DON'T LIKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND!"
