race for life (any tips?)
Hey all,
I'm doing the Race for life again this year and I'm not as fit as the last time (two years ago) I know I dont have to run/jog it but I am using it as a fitness goal to work towards. My race is on the 27th June, its 5km. My time two years ago was 35 minutes. Not only do I want to raise money to help fight cancer I want to be fitter. Any suggestions or tips for me? (anyone else doing it?) |
You might want to look into the couch to 5K program at coolrunning.com. You don't have to start at the beginning (unless you want to) if you're coming off a position of doing some activity, but it's a good place to figure out a training schedule.
