Hey everybody

Sorry I haven't posted lately. I've been so busy. Yesterday was a good day of eating, except I did have 2 small slices of pizza and a salad. No walking though...I started my period and felt (still feel) yucky. Cramping and bloated! YUK! All I wanted to do was lay down yesterday afternoon. This morning I had a bowl of cereal and some strawberries. Not sure about lunch yet.

I may not walk again this afternoon because I have really heavy periods and it just is too gross to walk even around the kitchen :^:

Anyhow...maybe in a couple of days when it goes away more I will difenantly get back on track with the walking.

I am here. Truthfully I have been feeling bad that I have not been doing a good job. I can't get myself up to walk. I am going to try the tredmill tonight when the kids go to bed. My dad took me and the kids to a movie this afternoon (enough said). I have been good with soda! And my eating is getting better.

How has everyone else been doing?

Supastar - I know what you mean about TOM. I don't ever feel like doing anything then! Except eat and yell at people. Luckily I have a pretty understanding husband!;)

Hi, I've been reading your posts. I don't drink anything other then tea, the odd coffee and water. I stopped buying fizzy drinks ages ago because they are no good for anyone and my body doesn't seem to like them anyway.
I don't have takeaways mostly because I can't afford them, and that is a good thing, one less problem to deal with :).
Walking is great, do any of you listen to music when you walk ? It's about the only time I can listen to my music :)
If you are tired when you get home, can you not make a deal with yourself to walk as soon as you walk in the door ? have a change of clothes on the bed ready to go and just go for 15 minutes, you may find that once your out there you will want to do more and it will make you feel better for having done it. Have a good day ladies

So I FINALLY got out and went for a walk tonight. I got in maybe about 3 miles in about an hour. I actually wanted to keep going because it felt so liberating, but I had to come home because I have studying to do. I wasn't COMPLETELY self conscious about it as I thought I would be. It felt like I was just another pedestrian and comforted myself with the knowledge that 5 seconds after seeing me I'd be completely out of their minds.. not even a memory. I still wasn't comfortable attempting to jog though, so I still have a lot of self consciousness to get rid of. Getting out would have been the end to a great day if I didn't have Wendy's today. Granted I made it a point to only eat some fruit and whatnot for the rest of the day to make up for the bad food choice, so I still managed to stay under about 1400ish calories. Go me!

An hour walking around definitely beat an hour on the treadmill. Time went so much faster.

Way to go VirgoChic:carrot:

I have to get myself on the tredmil. Everyday I keep making excuses. Tomorrow I am moving my alarm clock even farther from my bed and getting out of bed at 6am and walking for at least 30 min.

I hope everyone else is doing good and has a great weekend!
