recumbant bike question
Hi all. I'm a regular poster, but not in the exercise forum. I have been working out on a recumbent bike lately and find my feet falling asleep. I have tried adjusting the seat closer and farther away but it doesn't seem to help. I really like the workout I get otherwise...
any thoughts or experiences with this? thanks! |
 hi Lizzi ... I would think that maybe you should get your feet checked you may need orthotics in your shoes... Before orthotics my toes would get numb when biking, running, walking, whatever exercise I did... See an orthopedist or a chiropodist...

i had the same problem. and i tried everything. the ONLY thing that worked was when i put a thick towel under my butt. i didnt think it was gonna help cuz my seat was padded anyway but it completly fixed the problem. i left little room for my tailbone. but makeing your tushy more cushy may take the strain off a little.

Thanks, i'm going to give that a try. i keep having a problem with slipping down in the seat. I have back issues and have a towel most of the time with me so I can use it to support my back.
