Newbie
Hey ladies
New here, actually I have been lurking for sometime. I went on my diet about a month ago. Join Weightwatchers and lost about 15 pounds so far. Right now I want to get into exercising. I would love to weight train, however, I was looking for some tips on how to get into. I'm no stranger to weight training but, I find myself giving up because of the pain, and soreness from the work out. I really it to work this time. Tell your tricks and secrets. |
Well, I learned to enjoy that soreness. I looked at it like a sign that I was getting stronger. Do you have a way to measure your progress? I find that can be inspiring--to see that a month ago I could only chest press 35 lbs., and now I'm up to 50 lbs. makes me feel like I've accomplished something. Working with a trainer can be motivating, too, so you might try that.
Good luck! |

I love the pain also it gives me a feeling that I've worked my body to the max... I take L-Glutamine in my protein drink to relieve muscle soreness after a workout. It's a supplement that bodybuilders use to repair the muscle fibers... But a good hot bath helps a lot after a workout... After a few weeks of working out the pain will lessen. It will come back again when you change your workout... |
