Incline vs speed - trademill question...
Hi
I was wondering what is better for fat burning (And for my feet...) To run faster on the trademill with a low incline or to run slower but with higher incline... Any tips for that ? Thank U :carrot: |
Running faster on the treadmill will burn more calories. And losing weight/fat is all about calories in vs calories out.
You might want to try interval training as this burns EVEN MORE calories. Try 1 min slow jogging, then 30secs all out sprint, then 1 min slow jogging to recover, then 30 secs all out and repeat until spent! Interval training also burns more calories at rest after exercise than just pottering along in the mythological "fat burning zone" |
I always run with an incline to reduce the impact on my knees. I think either option sounds great, actually. I like to run, but my gym buddy always power-walks on a really high incline, and her heart rate and readouts always turn out higher than mine. Just do what you like!
I also agree about the interval training. |
Reduce damage ?
How can the incline reduce the knees damage ?
I thought that the opposite is the truth... |
