Need treadmill regimen help
How do I calculate WW activity points with my new regimen?
I had been doing 40 min. on the treadmill at 3.4 mph and a 4% grade. I was sweaty and breathing reasonably hard, butI wouldn't call it extremely vigorous - that gave me 3 points. Now I'm doing interval training: short warmup (5 min) 4 min. at 4 mph, 4% grade 2 min recovery at 3.2 mph, 4% grade 4 min at 3.2 mph, 10% grade 2 min. recovery at 3.2 mph, 4% grade Repeat cycle (without warm up) 2 more times, then a 10 min. gradual cooldown. Total time: 50 min. My heartrate is 80% of max (except for recovery times, when it drops to 60%) and it's a much more vigorous workout. It seems like I should get more APs for this, but I don't know how to figure it. The treadmills says I'm burning 440 cal. and go 2-1/2 miles. Any advice? |
I don't know how to figure out WW exercise points, but we do have a WW section maybe they can answer your question there... Sorry I'm not of much help...

You'd have to average your speed, and then use your speed, time and intensity for the WW exercise points. I'd do it, but I'm too lazy to average.
