Urban poling/Nordic walking
 

Has anyone tried using the Nordic walking poles? Apparently they are supposed to be a 50% more effective work out than regular walking as it works the whole body. I would be interested in hearing about your journeys with these poles.

It is great! I love it. It does work your arms too.
Lots of people in Europe are doing it. Not so much here in Canada though. I used to go Nordic walking years ago and I always, always got asked if I forgot my skis. Funny but got old quickly.
