anyone have or tried the Bowflex Treadclimber machine?
 

i was thinking about buying the TC5000 for my birthday. ive already saved up for most of it but i cant tell if it will truly help me shed pounds and inches or if its all just hype. replys are greatly appreciated!

I have a Bowflex Treadclimber (BTC). I think I bought it in 2006. It's a great workout. Their "calorie burn" thing isn't accurate, I use a Polar Heart Rate monitor that tracks how many calories I burn and it's about half of what the BTC says I burn. BUT, I have to RUN to burn more calories per minute than walking on the BTC. I hate running. No workout tape, even the FIRM workouts with weight can beat the calories I burn on the BTC.
