Neweight

    It's not a *drug* it's a supplement...

there's only one place selling the stuff, mostly on eBay. Nothing special here...in fact, one of the ingredients is Chromium Picolinate which not only has NO effect on weight loss, but might also promote certain cancers and liver problems.

The rest of the ingredients are the usual diet pill crapola:

    some vitamins
Pyruvate - overrated and as SupplementWatch states "The main problem, however, is that the vast majority of commercial products contain only about 250-1500mg of pyruvate per serving – or about 100 times less than the levels shown to be effective in the clinical studies outlined above." (According to the label, Neweight contains a mere, useless 160mg).
Ginseng, which you can get pretty much anywhere.
    L-Phenylalanine and L-Tyrosine - both amino acids.
Green Tea Extract, which is in pretty much every diet pill out there now...
Uva Ursi - a diuretic: "The addition of uva ursi to a diet tea appears to have little or no value. At best it may contribute to a small diuretic effect. Even so, losing body water is generally not the goal for those seeking weight loss. There is no evidence, scientific or anecdotal, that uva ursi helps reduce body fat."

Just the same old, same old...
