Lady Wellness Fitness Centers
 

They have recently built one of these women only fitness centers in my area, and it sounded like a really good idea.

My friend went to go check it out and during the tour, she said they were very pushy to have her sign the contract w/o her reading it, and they were pushing all types of supplements on her, things they said all the ladies there took to speed up her weight loss.

She had a very bad experience and was very turned off about it, and I was wondering if anyone has anyone knows anything about these places. Maybe it was just this particular location. I'm going to post this in the "exercise" forum too to see if anyone exercises there.

I have been going to LW since they opened in my town. THEY ARE pushy about the M'Lis program. Just ignore them. I spoke with a personal trainer and she was telling me that is one of the ways they make their money. They are a business and they do need to make money. The tours are mini sales pitches. I have not gone on their program (nor do I think I ever will), but I do TRULY enjoy the staff, the all woman club, and how clean it always is. ONLY a handful of women there are on the program. As far as I know, non of the PT's have gone on it. When they do (all of them are fitness / nutritionalist) the program I am right there, however, for now, I will stick with just trying to watch the calories, do my cardio, and lift.
