Default Cortisol??? aka Cortislim

Hi All
Was shopping in Walmart over the weekend and they had a bunch of these new pills, that said compare to Cortislim.for a 30 pack 5.00. So my curiosity gave in and I bought a pack, Supposedly cortisol is a hormone your body releases from stress. By taking the pill daily you fool your body into not producing cortisol, in turn you boost metabolism. The pills say that they serve as hunger control/ So I have been taking one each morning to see if I notice my hunger curbed any. However this being Day 3, Im not noticing a big difference. Has anyone else heard of this or tried the Cortislim product?

I recently read an excellent investigation into Cortislim here. Apparently if you carefully read the fine print at the bottom of their ads it says "Results not typical. Your results may vary. Results dependent on diet and exercise"

I enjoyed blogging this one. Eat sugar pills and your results will be dependent on diet and exercise. In other words - Cortislim is pretty much a pile of crock. The whole idea of diet pills is that you don't worry about the diet and exercise thing...

I love how their latest radio advertisements mention that Cortislim received some awards by a group called Lady Fitness or something like that. So did they make up this group or pay them off?

Wally-Mart in my area is a PLETHERA (sp. sorry) of the latest infomercial miracles!!! Trimspa was price-rolled back to $13.54, from 27.xx, Relacor, Cortislim, Xenadrine, Ripped Fuel, Diet Fuel, Zantrex-3-YES!, Mega-Green-Tea, Xenadrine, Stacker-2s, Stacker-3s, Starch Blockers....geez! somebody should scream FRAUD at them for stocking that stuff.

There's a sucker born every minute.......including me because I used to take the old Ripped Fuel with ephedra about 6 years ago. it worked, but I looked like the walking dead because i didn't sleep.......

Older and wiser, I decided that when i needed to seriously address the issue before it ballooned any further, the best advice comes from my PCP who will help me.....
