coconut oil and pulling

So I'm sure this has been mention before but the benefits of coconut oil are true??

Such as oil pulling to detox and also eating a tsp of it 5-8times per day?

Has anybody been using coconut oil for weight loss and does it help?
What kind of difference have you seen with your overall health?

Doesn't it make you want to gag? I feel like it's so strong to take inn.

But yeah. Let me know. Tips can also be very helpful. (: and thank you once again.

Coconut oil has a about 40 calories per tsp. That's about the same as butter. So eating 5-8 tsp seems pretty silly if you are trying to lose weight.

I know two people who swear that oil pulling has made their teeth whiter and their mouths healthier, but I wonder if they would have gotten similar results if they "water pulled" for 20 minutes a day instead of using the oil.

I Practically live on coconut oil, coconut cream, and unsweetened coconut chips. Sometimes I eat a spoonful of it to stave off hunger. I have lost a lot on coconut. I researched the why and it comes down to medium Chain fatty acids and how they help your metabolism. I eat it daily and have for 8 months. I sometimes on blend some coconut oil into my coffee...wow! And it kills my hunger. My cholesterol levels are "perfect " according to my Dr. My diet is 30-40% fat from avocado, olive oil and lots of coconut. But you have to go on your own research and experience. My health is sooo much better than ever before. Not sure if it's the weight loss, exercise or the ton of veggies I eat(probably a combo) but I will say I used to be sick 8+ times per year and now nada.
