Glad to see they work for you, galaxia2002,

May have to give them a second try, but up my fiber this time. I still have enough left to do another week.

Mbarbs, I see that I am not the only one who thinks the geek is wrong about them being a laxative.

I don't think the geek is wrong. Even the company that makes the product says it has a laxative in it.

The real question is what else is in it?

Side effects reported by users:

Quote:

16 pounds in two weeks. However when i stopped taking them i couldn’t go to the restroom, when i did there was blood and was very difficult. I also have been vomiting with a little bit blood. Some other side effects i witnessed were: Nausea, diarrhea, severe cramps no appetite, i had to force feed myself, I passed out, had the shakes (sugar was not low), I felt groggy, and tired NO ENERGY, and i could not sleep at night. I took them for a total of 3 weeks and decided this feeling was not worth the risk.

Well, I did gain some ‘things’ – frequent headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, brain fog (to the point that my husband and children actually asked what I had been drinking!), and acne/breakouts worse than I ever had as a teenager (it itches like crazy, and stings awful, not to mention looks terrible – and at 50, yes 50, at least I had a nice clear complexion going for me – had).
Reported side effects include:
rash
increase in blood pressure
heart palpitations
vomiting with blood
diarrhea
stools with blood
fainting
dizziness
blurred vision
sexual dysfunction
shakes
cramps
nausea

Note that supplements from China are well known to contain serious contaminants. They may also (and often do) contain other ingredients not specified on the label. In regards to the ingredients claimed, they may contain as little or as much of any ingredient which negates any potential benefit, because they are not regulated or standardized. In other words, you have absolutely no idea what you are swallowing.

My question is why? If you know you can lose weight by cutting back portions or making other food choices, and increasing your activity levels, then why would you risk your health by swallowing mystery pills? I just don't get it

Weight lost from this product is not fat. It's not possible. There are no ingredients in this product that have been shown in studies to burn fat.

To lose one pound of fat you must burn 3500 calories more than you consume.

Let's say someone lose 6 pounds in one week. That's 21,000 calories burned if you lost fat. That's 3,000 calories burned per day more than you consume. If you weigh 150 pounds and you jog in place for one hour you will burn almost 550 calories. So you would need to jog for nearly 6 hours per day to burn that amount of fat. If you weigh more then you'll burn more calories per hour.

This product comes with a standard list of warnings of who should not take it. Since overweight and obese people are at much higher risk of having these conditions, often undiagnosed, they are the people who should not take it.

But I guess if your only goal is losing a few pounds fast, no matter what those pounds consist of, and if you do not have a goal of good health and you don't mind the high risk, then products like this might just be for you.

Since we don't support that, I'm closing this thread.

Thanks :)
