So apparently this is a new book that has phases and lets you eat carbs in small portions.......... any feedback with it?
My stepmom is doing this diet and seems to love it. She keeps telling me to buy it, might take a look at it this weekend. I'll let ya know if I start it and have any luck.
I read about that in Health magazine, they had a few pages with sample recipes and stuff. They talk about "resistance starches", which they say are carbs that aren't absorbed by the body. I don't really know much about that, though. From the sample menus in the magazine, the diet just looks to me like a way of increasing "good" carbs, reducing "bad" carbs, and increasing fiber and whole grains.
I am giving the "weight loss cocktail" a try. You brew a pitcher of green tea, add in the juices of a lime, a lemon, and an orange, and sip on it all day. Hmmmm, we'll see.
