I was wondering about Benefiber and the advantages and are there any disadvantages? Thanks.

For what? as a fiber supplement it's great. It's not thick like metaculil. Sometimes it takes a bit to get it all dissolved. I put it in a jar with a lid and shake it up to get it dissolved. It keeps you regular.

I use Benefiber daily and like it much better than Metamucil as it doesn't have any taste to it.

It doesn't help in the weight-loss efforts, if that is what you are wanting to know. It just helps with the digestive process.
