The Hot Latin Diet

  • I have this new book, The Hot Latin Diet by Dr. Manny Alvarez.

It seems promising as it says that the supermodel look is no longer in (hooray!)

It shows what foods are in the Latin diet that can help you lose weight and maintain natural curves. So far, getting into the book, it teaches that the rat-race, fast-paced life, full of fast food, junk food and processed stuff, is not very good, and food is to be enjoyed slowly, with less meat and more fruits and veggies; it's kind of like the Mediterranean Diet. I find it offers "powerfoods" like cilantro and cinnamon that helps maintain blood sugars and replenishes you.

I've only gotten so far into the book, so what I'm asking is, has anybody else ever heard of or tried this way of life. And if so, is this whole thing legitimate, or just another come-and-go kind of thing?
  • I like that Dr who writes it he is on the Fox new Channel all the time.
  • I just like the title of this book. Sounds exciting!
