Slim in Six

Saw an infomercial about this system. Has anyone tried it?

There have been a few slim in six users around. One place to check is the exercise DVD forum.

IT works. But me and repetition don't get along very well. Since I have been through boot camp I get used to it too quickly and it won't work anymore.

My friend has it says it works but the music is boring so use head phones :)

I ordered this off ebay and was super excited to start the program. But for me, it was incredibly boring and the instructor was awful at transitions. Plus, it suggests that you workout 6 days a week. That just wasn't realistic for me. So, as a result, it's packed away in storage and I've moved on to using a treadmill and free weights.

Oh, the one nice thing is that it comes with resistance bands of two different intensities. Those I've actually used many times, sans video.

I have used Slim in 6. While it's a good workout (my leg and butt muscles were ON FIRE during the excruciating floor routine--holy crap! :dizzy:), I found that after a few weeks I got sooooo bored with the repetitiveness, and it was very difficult to find the time and motivation to workout over an hour a day for six days a week. I am not a morning person (I tried), and in the evenings by the time I got home from work, cook dinner, do household chores, help my child with homework, laundry, etc....it's 9 or 10 pm and I'm pooped out! I stuck it out for the whole six weeks though. I did not lose much weight, but I *did* lose quite a few inches all around. If you can stand doing the same workout six days a week, it may work for you but you have to really stick to it. Don't let them fool you into thinking you're going to have this huge difference after 6 weeks either. That may be so if you don't have much to lose but if you have alot of weight to lose, you're going to have to do this workout for the better part of a year at least in my opinion.

I ordered this workout last year and wished i would have known how BORING it was before i gave the representive my money. Yes my legs were on fire but no, i couldnt stick with it due to lack of intrest. Now im doing turbo Jam and love my results and the tape!
