Hydroxycut Max! Extreme-Strength weight loss for women

  • I wanted to know has anybody ever tried these and seen results? I've read positive reviews on these and my friend is taking them but she takes 3 a day and not 6 a day. She said that they are working for her and she has energy and she hasn't had any side effects. She is also dieting and working out everyday. I just purchased them today and I'm gonna start taking them on the 1st of next month. I just wanted to see if anyone has heard positive things about this product?
  • All they are is caffeine and vitamins.

Studies have shown that caffeine has no beneficial effect on weight loss. You can't get enough caffeine through a pill to rev up your metabolism to make a difference.

Caffeine *might* suppress your appetite for a little bit, but eventually you become immune to the effect.

Caffeine *can* make your workouts more effective if taking about an hour before you hit the gym, but again, eventually you become immune to the effect as your body becomes adjusted to the stimulus.

Seriously. There is no magic pill. I've taken these, I've taken just about every diet pill on the market. They're all the same. For a while they'll give you a rush of energy, but there's nothing magical about them. It's caffeine and stimulants, plain and simple. And eventually your body will become accustomed to them and any "energy" benefit you might have gotten will be lost.

Big time waste of money, IMO.

  • What Photo said.
There is an ad for this (as well as for other similar products) in each issue of Oxygen. They always show a chubby lady in the Before picture and quite a muscular version of her in the After picture. No pill will result in such a transformation. You have read the fine print - it always says "Results not typical, and they were achieved in combination with proper nutrition and exercise.
  • I do proper diet and nutrition whether I have diet pills or not. I understand where the both of you are coming from. Well what about the drink packets? I get tired of drinking water all the time are the drink packets okay just if you don't want to drink water. Sort of like how they have the south beach, crystal light, and Special K drink packets. I just need variety of beverages.
  • I read reviews on amazon.com and people swear by this, I bought the drink packets and I like the caffine boost and not sure that it makes a difference but maybe it's psychological. But if you read the reviews people really do claim to lose more weight, and there's hundreds of them there.
  • I did the pills with the drink packets and I got sick so I guess if I mix them together that isn't the greatest idea. So I'm taking off from them both. Lately I have been feeling better. In the beginning of Jan. I'm gonna start the pills again cause if I don't take them I just wasted money. They weren't cheap thats for sure.
  • I had a weightlifter friend ( I know, right?) who took them to get rid of extra water weight and to stay awake at work. I never got to ask them if they actually work for weight loss, though.
  • In my opinion, it's not a good idea to pop OTC pills that have a lot of caffeine and other thermogenic ingredients for the purpose of fitness and/or weight loss.
  • I took them, and tons of other Weight loss pills and none of them work to make you lose weight. I used to take them just for the energy rush i would get when I was tired. Now for that I use Metabolife energy pills.
