Seaweed Pills

I read in Women's World magazine about seaweed pills helping people lose weight. I would like to try them but was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with them and if so, did you have any side effects, jitters etc?

Dr Weil says you'd have to eat massive quantities to see any benefit. It doesn't sound like the pills would be worth it. But I've not tried them :shrug:
